History
The Rye IDB was established in 1935. There are currently19 Board Members, with 5 of these Board Members nominated from levy-paying District Councils. Two Clerks have served the Board since it was founded:
Mr. Arthur Newey - 1935 - 1986
Mr. Eric Bowles - 1986 - Present
